Matt Cortez is a trial attorney handling personal injury, real estate, estate planning, probate, workers' compensation, and employment matters throughout California, and now Arizona. He has tried cases to verdict. He also forms and structures LLCs for real estate investors looking to hold income and investment properties.
He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude, with a B.S. in psychology, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and graduated magna cum laude from Western State College of Law, where he served as Outside Articles and Symposium Editor for the Law Review and as Student Bar Association President.
Matt is also a licensed California real estate broker, a license he has held since 2014. He sits on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Realtors and for Orange County Realtors.
Born and raised in Phoenix, where he lived for 22 years before moving to California, Matt is an Arizona native and a licensed Arizona attorney who represents clients in both states.
